Fancy pecan halves for the chef. They're the halves we sell for the batter, the filling, and the chopped topping. Two-pound box for a holiday of baking, thirty-pound case for the large kitchen or the bakery. Four generations in the pecan business means we know quality.
Fancy pecan pieces, already broken down to the size you'd chop them to anyway. These are for the cookie dough, the streusel, the sweet potato casserole, and every recipe that calls for chopped pecans and would rather you didn't stand there with a knife. Same pecan as our halves, sold by the two-pound box up to the thirty-pound case, so the pantry stays stocked from Thanksgiving through the last pie of spring. If you also want halves for the top, there's a box with a pound of each.
Half and half: a pound of fancy pecan halves and a pound of fancy pecan pieces in one two-pound box. It's the box for the chef who makes one pie and one pan of something else, or who'd rather not buy two boxes to finish one recipe. Four generations in the pecan business, one pound each way.
Whole pecans, still in the shell, for the people who like to do their own cracking. Desirable is the variety: a big pecan with a thin shell and a full, plump half inside. These come from the same family that's spent four generations in the pecan business, and they're sold in three-, five-, and ten-pound gift boxes. Put a bowl and a cracker on the coffee table and the afternoon takes care of itself.
Cooked in the copper kettle with a maple glaze on each pecan half. Pecan and maple belong together and here you get both in one bite: the maple first, then the pecan underneath it. Cooked one small batch at a time by our family in Granbury, Texas. Good over vanilla ice cream, better straight from the tin.
Bourbon and sugar glazed pecans cooked in the copper kettle. A nice balance of sweet and a little warmth on every pecan half. It's the kettle pecan to set out as a party app or after dinner. Cooked one small batch at a time by our family in Granbury, Texas.
Nothing sweet in this one. Butter roasted pecans on one side, roasted and salted cashews on the other, for the household that snacks or skips dessert. The pecans are big halves roasted in butter with a little salt; the cashews are whole and roasted golden. Set it out with drinks and it does the job a cheese board does, with less fuss. Made by our family in Granbury, Texas.
This is the toffee from the candy case at our store in Granbury, cooked with pecans in our own candy kitchen. It's only made in November and December, so if you want it, order early and order more than one. It comes in a one-pound tin. Send it to the person who already has everything, or keep it and don't mention it to anyone.
